Always the right fit with OiOiOi

At OiOiOi the clothes you order for your baby should have the perfect fit. That's why all our items from different brands are re-sized before we put their label on. Because when you find a label with 0-3 months written on it, how big is this anway? The intervals between baby clothes in the first few years are always 6cm and the smallest size starts at 44 cm. In our size guide we work in centimeter indications because that's the approximate length of your baby, which can be measured.

What is the right size for a newborn?

Are you buying baby clothes for the first time and are unsure what size the unborn baby in your belly needs? Babies are born with an average length of 51cm (range between 46-56cm). So most of our customers start with either size 50 or 56. Impatient little babies wanting to discover the world earlier need extra small clothes. We also have newborn sets for preemies (premature babies) in size 44.

How do I know if my baby will be born big or small? Usually, from week 34 of pregnancy, the gynecologist can help parents determine whether the baby is more likely to be bigger / longer or smaller / shorter. Provided the child is born around the calculated due date, of course.

They grow sooo fast!

Yup, that's true! Actually, babies outgrow up to 6-8 clothing sizes in their first year. Precisely because you need a whole new wardrobe every few weeks, it is worth renting the baby and kids clothes instead of stowing them away in the basement almost unused. With our rental plans you can swap your bundle when needed at no extra charge. Wear and tear is insured and delivery and returns are free.

Why not just buy bigger clothing instead of upsizing so frequently? You certainly can, for certain items like cardigans and then just flip the sleeves. Whatever is worn on the body directly needs to be close enough to actually insulate and at the same time not too close so the baby can still move comfortably.
